Class Description: "In the pursuit and dissemination of knowledge” is the phrase used in one policy at the University of Utah to describe and define academic freedom. What does this phrase mean in daily practice for postdoctoral fellows, research associates, and research assistants? Come learn more about this and how academic freedom and authorship work at the institution and join in a 45-min Best Practice Network discussion.
REd Best Practice Networks are 1 hour in length with a 15-minute presentation and a 45-minute discussion that are led by subject matter experts. Participants are expected to come prepared with any questions that they may have and to engage in a conversation with the facilitator and their peers.
