Class Description: "Examine and communicate ideas” is the phrase used in two policies at the University of Utah to describe and define academic freedom. What does this phrase mean in daily practice as we work with U of U authors? Come learn more about these policies and join in a 45-min Best Practice Network discussion about how to assist authors of all types (students, faculty, staff) as they engage in the process of communicating their ideas.

REd Best Practice Networks are 1 hour in length with a 15-minute presentation and a 45-minute discussion that are led by subject matter experts. Participants are expected to come prepared with any questions that they may have and to engage in a conversation with the facilitator and their peers.
