Topics in Mentoring and Mentee-ing for Graduate/Undergraduate Students and Post-Doctoral Scholars

Students and post-doctoral scholars are often in the position of being mentored while simultaneously developing their own mentoring skills and sensibilities. This discussion—co-facilitated by a graduate student and a faculty member—will introduce topics including the rights and responsibilities of mentees and mentors, promoting access and equity in mentoring relationships, and resources for mentors and mentees. A brief presentation will be followed by group discussion. Participants are encouraged to bring questions and concerns for discussion.
