About the Consultation

The Broader Impacts (BI) criterion used by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and other agencies is an increasingly important component for successful proposals. Our team of researchers and science communicators has extensive experience in suggesting innovative BI activities that have helped UU Principal Investigators (PIs) write more competitive proposals in diverse disciplines and for a range of NSF programs, including GRFPs, CAREER grants, research proposals, training programs, and Centers. The 30-min consultation sessions provide guidance for individual PIs and/or labs to design, implement, and evaluate BI activities for your upcoming proposals.
