This is a REd Synchronous (live) class.

Participants will better understand the purpose and requirements for data and safety monitoring plans in human subject research. Presentation will include instruction on how to determine the need for a data and safety monitoring plan, as well as how to design an adequate plan for data and safety monitoring.

Best practices for establishing a monitoring board or committee will also be discussed.
