This is a REd Best Practice Network (live) class.

We will discuss challenges and solutions to the barriers of recruiting non-English speaking participants. We will role-play and share what to look for to ensure you provide high-quality research participant encounters to foster trust and respect.  Resources that are available through the Office of Research Participant Advocacy will also be provided.

This Best Practice Network is part of a 3-class series. Although, it is not required to take all the classes within the series. Classes included in this series are as follows:


REd Best Practice Networks are 1 hour in length with a 15-minute presentation and a 45-minute discussion that are led by subject matter experts. They will be developed based on (1) requests from participants and (2) needs from units on campus. Participants are expected to come prepared with any questions that they may have and to engage in a conversation with the facilitator and their peers.
