Investigator Orientation: Post-Award Workshop

A specialized seminar conducted by senior administrators at the University offered to all new and experienced researchers. Effective project management through the use of Management Reports, Project Look-Up, Chartfield Look-Up, Financial Information Library, and the Grants & Contracts website will be discussed with a live interactive demonstration. The administration of grants and contracts for federal projects will be explained as well as compliance with agency rules, University requirements and financial reporting guidelines. Management Accounting and Grants & Contracts Accounting policies will be described including time and effort reporting, the facilities and administrative (F&A) rate, and cost accounting standards for educational institutions.
