This is a REd Synchronous (live) class.
The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs are known as America's Seed Fund. These highly competitive federal programs fund early-stage research of high-risk innovative technology for commercialization.
This class will introduce general conception of SBIR/STTR programs and application related topics operated by 11 federal agencies. If you are thinking about starting a company, have a small business, or support SBIR/STTR proposals, there will be valuable information for you.
Class Objectives:
- Learn what are the SBIR/STTR programs
- Learn who are eligible to apply for the funding
- Learn how/who can be involved in the SBIR/STTR funded projects
- Learn how to find funding opportunities
- Learn how to prepare competitive applications
